An EFT session involves gently tapping a sequence of energy points on the body with the fingertips, which releases negative emotions. It is an easy, self-help tool providing a way to release emotional upsets, trauma, limiting negative emotions, feelings, beliefs and behaviours, anxiety or pain, as they happen or from past issues.
What is EFT?
EFT is a psychological version of acupressure, incorporating methods from Ancient Chinese Medicine and modern-day Applied Kinesiology. It uses gentle tapping on meridian points to release trapped emotions.
The tapping helps you access your body's energy and send signals to the part of the brain that controls stress. Stimulating the meridian points through EFT tapping can reduce the stress or negative emotion you feel from your issue, ultimately restoring balance to your disrupted energy.
An EFT session is highly supportive, taking you through the tapping sequence while releasing imbalances. We start with checking the intesity level of your issue on a scale of 1-10, then tap meridian points while focussing on the issue, and re-checking the intensity level at the end. People often feel like a great weight has been lifted off their shoulders, as the energy and emotions shift and release.
